Agent setup

Standard Compute works with any agent that can use a custom OpenAI-compatible or Anthropic-compatible endpoint. Pick your agent below for exact steps.

Launcher-supported agents

For Claude Code, Codex CLI, Hermes and OpenClaw, the standardcompute launcher signs you in through your browser and starts the agent already connected. You don't need to edit any config files.

Claude Code

Anthropic's terminal coding agent, via the Messages API.

Codex CLI

OpenAI's coding agent, via the Responses API.

Nous Research's autonomous agent.

Open-source agent framework with a terminal UI.

Connection values

Any OpenAI-compatible tool needs the same three values:

Use standardcompute to get smart routing, or an exact model ID to pin one model. See Models and routing.

Verify any setup

Ask the agent to reply "OK", then open Request Logs. You should see the request and the model that answered.
